We recently bought a lovely pair of sheets at Costco. They were soft and deep pocketed and so we were both pleased. Imagine my displeasure upon discovering a rip in the sheets after their second use! It wasn’t a rip from wear and tear or dogs playing on the bed either, it was quite simply a rip because the sheets were too thin to last. Honestly, make sheets cost more and last longer and you will have a much happier customer base!
Hubby’s favorite sheets of all time come from Target and thus I began looking for replacement sheets there. Unfortunately, the sheets he loves I can’t get anymore and so it wasn’t a simple matter of run out and pick up a couple of new sets. I think we found a comparable replacement set but time will tell. They haven’t yet come out of the dryer feeling like butter so I’m not sure. I’m also praying that the pockets are deep enough.
We need to find a new comforter/quilt that we both like too. I would prefer something lighter in color but he wants darker to hide the dirt from the dogs. I see his point, but I’m afraid that darker will make our room too dark. He will probably win this argument though because truthfully, the darker the quilt the less I will notice dog paw prints.
