Books that I got for free cheap on Kindle or Nook that are new to me and that I’m looking forward to exploring. Just looking at the covers lined up here they books are all over the place which honestly doesn’t fairly represent my overall reading style. Admittedly, I tend to heavily favor mysteries and romances but every once in a while I like branching out and dipping my toes in the pools of other genres.
Jill Marie Landis isn’t a new author to me, in fact she was my kindergarten teacher. I loved the first one of the Tiki Goddess series and I know this will be an enjoyable weekend read for me this spring.
My husband will look at this list and tell me I have a lot of books to read but this is just a mere fraction of what is on my Nook and Kindle apps. Admittedly, I generally utilize both apps to get and read samples of books. If I like a book, I immediately check to see if it is available on Scribd or Oysterbooks. A decent selection of books is available on Scribd which has cut down on my purchasing of ebooks. I will be posting a review of both subscription services soon, there is definitely a difference in the ease and quality of the services.
However, first up this the weekend however is completing two cozies that I have had started and hanging around for a while now. Both are good, decent enjoyable books but I have had the compelling urge to finish either of them. I’d like to finish them and then replace them with other physical books in the respective bathrooms where the current books are stashed.
I’m truly enjoying trying new authors that aren’t well known or actively shoving their books in reader’s faces to get on the best seller’s list.
